For a third year in a row, our ESR13 Vasso Gkatsi has co-organized and participated in the Girls’ Day at the University of Twente!

The PETER project was in the #ScienceIsWonderful science fair in Brussels last week! Vasso Gkatsi (ESR13) and Daria Nemashkalo from the University of Twente were there to show to primary and secondary pupils what their research is all about! Qazi Mashaal Khan (ESR 7, ESEO) became the first MSCA ETN PETER ESR to successfully defend his Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from INSA Rennes on 31/01/2023. The title of his Ph.D. thesis was “Evaluation of Electromagnetic Hazards due to Environmental Stresses, Obsolescence and/or Aging, Evaluation at the IC Level”. Electrical Engineering… What is it exactly? Well, 30 girls will have the chance of finding that out on Thursday, April 7th at the University of Twente!

A PETER-based conference session will be held at EMC+CI 2022 in Newbury, UK on May 19th. PETER session topic “Management of the risks that can be caused by EMI” gathering a wide variety of cases in electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) engineering that need risk management. The session is chaired by Oskari Leppäaho (ESR 8).
